I started going down the rabbit hole of lost information about black people in Entertainment before minstrel shows. I felt as if my Ancestors were calling on me. It felt as if I was being selected to tell the story or start the conversation about Native Black Americans' true contribution to Hollywood and the Entertainment World.

1st Fam Radio is facing an ongoing problem.

Filming roadblocks. The process of taking great film projects from Pitch to Green-Light and into production depends heavily on finances.

At the Big Five major film studios in the United States and the mini-majors, green-light power is generally exercised by committees of the studios' high-level executives.

Independent Film and Content Creators such as 1st Fam Radio LLC are often robbed of their work, removed from the project, or just neglected all while hoping for financial backing.

1st Fam Radio is making an effort to fix that. Because we are an Independent Online Radio Station for Indie Artists of all genres, Podcasters, and Content Creators, we need your help to make our efforts go further!

You can help us remove some of that red tape and jump hurdles over those roadblocks. Allowing great projects to move forward from the development phase to pre-production and principal broadcasting.
